Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Afftrack, Inc. (“AffTrack,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with our affiliate-tracking and performance-marketing platform and the afftrack.com website (together, the “Service”). It applies to visitors of our website and to customers who operate an AffTrack account.

AffTrack is a tool our customers use to run their own affiliate programs. When a customer processes end-user or traffic data through the Service, that customer is the controller of that data and this policy describes our role as their processor. Our customers are responsible for their own privacy notices to their affiliates and end users.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in a few ways:

Account information you provide when you sign up or contact us, such as name, email address, company and billing details.
Usage and log data generated as you use the Service, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed and actions taken.
Tracking data processed on behalf of customers, such as clicks, conversions, postbacks and related campaign parameters.
Cookies and similar technologies as described below.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain and improve the Service; to authenticate accounts and prevent fraud and abuse; to process payments; to provide support; to communicate with you about your account, offers and updates; and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service and understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Tracking parameters processed for customer campaigns are governed by that customer's own instructions.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to operate the Service: with service providers and sub-processors who act on our behalf (such as hosting and payment processing) under confidentiality obligations; with a customer whose account the data relates to; to comply with law or lawful requests; and in connection with a merger, acquisition or asset sale.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations. Customers can request deletion of account data as described below.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email support@afftrack.com. Where we act as a processor for a customer, we will refer applicable requests to that customer.

9. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
